I don't have updates about roombox, but I found some time to improve my working space a bit. Thanks to my hubby I have couple of new shelves. I'm very happy to be honest. The only thing that worries me now is how to manage all the instruments I have - I mean jigsaw, mini lathe, scrollsaw, table saw and little Dremel project table. Mostly they are fixed now, and moving them is a big deal really. So we are thinking of making some sort of "construction" that would make my life easier:)
So many things have changed in less than a year - we moved into the new apartment just couple years ago when I wasn't mad about miniatures. So we just thought today that if we were moving now, our apartment design would be sooo different - I definitely need more space for my hobby and basically all I can do now is to add some more shelves:) Well, I hope it's all for the best.

This looks like a minimakers heaven though...even if the space is limited you have the machinery and the most important; the talent to make wonderful miniatures!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend Victoria!

With these machines and the space, I think you can make almost anything! I simply love tools and workshops with little machines just really get me excited! I don't know where I got that from though since I don't even know how to work the tools.

A very nice space for work! Victoria, I want to ask about the Russian house you were building. Is it finished completely? (If so I must have missed something ;))Lots of hugs from Poland

Thanks for showing your work space - it's fascinating seeing where mini makers work.
I've moved house a lot in my life, and now I store most of my stuff and only bring it out to my worktable for each project. I don't have any machinery though, and I can see you need a permanent place for each tool.
At least miniatures are small!!

@The Old Maid:I haven't finished the house yet. I started making roombox because I wanted a little break from the house, though I'll get back to it soon, I think! I'll get you updated, that's for sure!:)

@Glenda: Yeah, I can't imagine what I'do if I was making minis in 1/4 or 1/6 scale. That would be a little too much, I think!:)

@Tallulah Belle: Thank you! I want to make this heaven even better!:)

Your space looks so well organised. Isn't it amazing how much stuff is required for such a "small" hobby!

@Irene: So true! When I just started I never thought I'd have so many tools for miniatures!

You have inspired me to try my hand at some carpentry in the future. I just need to learn how to use the tools but have a good handyman in my partner Brad. Your work looks great.

@Margaret: Thank you, Margaret! I think carpentry is fun, I also needed help when I just started and I still ask my hubby to help me sometimes. I hope you'll enjoy learning working with all the tools!
