Washstand

I've finished it several days ago, it was very interesting project! I saw this washstand in one of the old Sotheby's catalogues and fell in love with it. It looks quite simple, but there are some details that I really liked.
So here it is:

The tiles with flowers are made of cardboard, I painted every tile separately, watercolor is great for it. Simple green tiles on the table are made of polymer clay.

I'm already working on the next project, also very art nouveau-ish.

Lovely piece of furniture! I love the tiles you painted.
I was looking through your previous posts, the book you bought is wonderful! I can imagine you want to make many pieces from it.

Totally agree with all of the above. The tiles are so delicately done, they are breathtaking. And your work speed is so rapid, I had to catch up on some of your work and postings. Love the little side table with inlay, ooh well I love it all.

And indeed. like Josje said, the book is marvelous. Great way for reference and to get inspiration. Expensive yes, but they are worth every penny!
